Spring Greetings dear art friends!
Hooray, I'm so happy that Spring is finally here. The cherry blossoms are starting to errupt which means lots of delightful pink and green inspiration. Last week, I asked for your suggestions on what shapes to create from these beautiful sustainable wood pieces that Tammy and I painted.

Thank you for all of your fantastic ideas! Just look at what we made: dragonflies (thanks Anne!), gnome hats (thanks Peggy!), pink clouds (thanks Marilyn!), bunnies, watering cans and grass. And many of you asked for hearts...your wish is my command. : ) I'm going to send everyone that posted a $5 gift certificate to ARTchix. Hugs. : )

Check out the cute earrings I made in minutes with our new dragonflies and watering cans.
...
Swoon! Our new limited edition pink clouds are so heavenly! I collaged some of them with an old pink Paris map and French dictionary pages so each cloud is a wonderful surprise.
...
It's no secret that J'adore Paris! I made this charming necklace by simply wrapping the eiffel tower with wire so that I could easily attach it to cord. The beautiful ribbon is from recycled silk saris. Love it!
...
And speaking of Paris, have you seen the French film Amelie?! It's one of my favorite movies of all time. I watched it again recently and fell in love all over again. It's so visually stunning and has such interesting characters. I highly recommend it.
...
In the movie, there is quite an interest around photo booth pictures. I found myself enjoying our fantastic photo booth collage sheets: guys, chicks, kidlets and minis.
...
And also in Amelie...there is a gnome that travels around the world. I have always had a weakness for gnomes (I have quite a few tucked in and around my backyard). When I found a piece of vintage sheet music entitled "March of the Gnomes", I was pumped!
Great news! A gift for you dear readers! Get a free digi dowload of "March of the Gnomes" by simply emailing blogfreebie@artchixstudio.com by March 26th.
....
But wait, there's more! I had a blast designing this special sheet of Paris Post inspired by the movie Amelie. While listening to the Amelie soundtrack (which is amazing btw), I searched through my collections trying to find images that represented characters, events and scenes in the movie. Sooo much fun!
Start your Spring with a creative jumpstart! Order today and I'll tuck in this sheet of magnifique stickers. While supplies last.
See you next week with some Easter fun! : )
It all looks tres belle! :-)

Magnifiqué! Love all the pink and green and Paris in the Spring (& Amelie!). Such cool new stuff. The gnomes really make me smile ... we had them all over our garden when I was growing up ... so fun. Thanks for the digi-freebie AND for the $5 gift certificate ... what a bright and beautiful garden of art goodies!

I have a couple of gnomes in my garden, too. What fun, whimsical creatures! Here's a link to a picture of one them I took last year for St. Patty's Day. http://www.modlodgevintage.blogspot.com/2012/03/happy-st-patricks-day-to-you.html

My French just went out the window, but I am loving everything that is new, pink and green. I also adore the gnomes and the dragonflies (I will be ordering both), but my favorite is the Tour de Eiffel. What a great statement piece for any kind of art (love the pendant).
More art inspiration!
