Hello dear art friends!
Hope you're having a wonderful week.
This week, I made some tags for a Valentine Tag Swap. What fun! Bruno had to step in and help me (of course). For the festive red, black and white backgrounds, I used my new favorite collage sheet by the talented Alwen Rambo.
...
I added beautiful images from our La Belle Epoque collage sheet (another one of my favorite sheets).
...
Ta da! And here they are all complete and ready to go in the mail.
...
I used red foil candy wrappers behind the images to hilight them. And I added splashes of red to the images with a red watercolor crayon. Btw, don't you love this gal's boots?!
...
It's funny because while I was working on these tags, I found myself wearing a lot of black and white with red lipstick. What can I say...I am my art. : )
...
Last week, I asked you to name something collectible that starts with the letter "S." I was looking for SPOONS! lol. This is a little collection of spoon postcards that I just adore. And I'm so happy to share them with you. Each postcard shows 2 lovers with a type of spoon (tablespoons, jam spoons, dessert spoons - my, how times have changed! I believe I have 2 types of spoons in my drawer - big and little).
The captions on each postcard are so entertaining. For example...
The course of true love
will smoothly run soon
If the very last course
is a fine Dessert Spoon.
Love it! Hope you do too! To get your free digi download, simply email ARTchix Studio at blogfreebie@artchixstudio.com.
Note: this special sheet is for personal use only. Not for resale.
Hope you have an awesome week! See you next week with more fun and creativity!
Helga, oh I hope I get one of your tags in the swap! Fabulous looking.
