Hello dear art friends! Hope all is great with you.

Shall we take a trip back to the Alameda Antique Fair? Last week, I showed you the trough of vintage French jars that I was coveting there...look at beautifully they were displayed in the booth. Note the wood block letters at each place setting...love!

Okay, I'm still kicking myself! Why oh why didn't I buy one of these adorable vintage berry buckets?!
...

There were some really cool handmade items at the Alameda Antique Fair too...like these letters and numbers cut out of vintage sheet metal.

You know I had to get an "H" for my collection. : )
...

So, what did I buy? Well, I've been focused on numbers lately (because of Weight Watchers) so I found myself drawn to vintage measuring tape, ruler and flash cards.

...

I cut the vintage ruler up into 1" pieces and added holes. Don't you think they'd make the coolest earrings??! Hope one of you will purchase them from my etsy shop and make earrings to show me. : )

I'm selling the vintage cloth tape measure in 4 yard pieces wrapped around vintage flash cards. I love adding bits of tape measure to my tags, atcs and canvases. And if you ever want to wrap a special gift, wrap it with this vintage tape and watch everyone swoon. : )

Speaking of vintage flash cards, I was able to pick up some more. Phew! Just wanted to show you how my Aunt DeeDee creatively displayed a vintage flash card that she arted up with rubber stamps. Doesn't it look beautiful attached to this antique bird cage?

I also picked up these gorgeous vintage canning labels. Love the aqua and shimmering gold..and I think "Queen Olives" and "Pearl Onions" are the perfect jumpstarts for some brilliant collages. : )
